 On 21st May, Mark Thompson, Managing Director of the
Èpeus Group of Companies, joined Professors Dominic
Houlder and Michael Hay of the London Business School to
talk at an event focused on the development of business
strategy and mastering the strategic conversation. This
is an approach that helps to transform a company from
being a service provider to a strategic enabler for a
client.
The occasion, hosted by the London Business School, was
attended by professionals from a cross section of
industries, including Finance, Oil and Gas, and
Pharmaceuticals. The audience also included
representatives from the UK and international
governmental bodies.
Mr Thompson discussed the application of approaches and
techniques used to develop business strategy and the
value creation and capture opportunities that these can
bring to a company and its clients. The talk was well
timed, given the many challenges that companies are
facing now due to the global economic downturn.
Professor Houlder, commenting on Mr Thompsons’
